President Bush Did WHAT?

If you had awakened between 2001 and 2008 and seen any of the following headlines how many of you would have blown a gasket… the evil GW Bush?
1. President Bush had taken over 90 days to come to a decision on how to fight the war on terror in Afghanistan, and only gave his General 75% of the troops he asked for.
2. President Bush has taken charge of General Motors and Chrysler.
3. President Bush now owns many of the banks and financial institutions, to include AIG.
4. President Bush has fired the CEO of a private corporation and hired a man who had helped his Chief of Staff make $16 million dollars in a business deal.
5. President Bush threatened to shut down banks unless they took the money from his bailout package.
6. President Bush had hired quality people for companies like AIG and only pay them $1 to fix them problems with the promise of a year-end bonus, only to vilify them for taking the bonus.
7. President Bush hired a 9/11 Truther, who said the United States government blew up those buildings, is a self-avowed communist, is someone who is speaking in prison anti-cop, and who defended a guy who shot a cop in the head, as one of his high level advisor.
8. President Bush said he had absolutely no information but the cops acted stupidly because they caught a friend of his, appearing to break into his own home. On top of that, President Bush never apologized, instead he invited them all for a beer summit and used it as a learning experience about diversity.
9. The most frequent visitor to President Bush’s White House has been a labor union president who has repeatedly said “workers of the world unite” and “we know that we have got a lot of illegal members, illegal aliens in our membership” and then, as an after thought, added “yeah, but we also represent American workers too.” This guy visited the White House more than the Secretary of Defense (War on Terror, war in Iraq, war in Afghanistan), Secretary of State (see Iran conflict), or the Secretary of Treasury (see the economy).
10. President Bush is following a plan to redistribute the wealth of America amongst the world and government run health care, that was written by a convicted felon, while he was in prison for bank fraud. One of his top advisors called it the “blueprint to success.”
11. President Bush appointed a science czar, who has called for forced abortions and sterilization through the drinking water. Who said that the redistribution of wealth would be necessary and it would happen through the environmental movement.
12. President Bush appointed a diversity czar at the FCC who said Americans have to decide soon which Americans would have to step down from their positions in order to give others a chance. The same man said the revolution in Venezuela was incredible and that we should model our FCC and our programs after Venezuela and the revolution.
13. President Bush had a two day summit to discuss “the role of government in journalism” and be discussing a “government takeover of journalism” and no journalist would actually report on that.
14. President Bush held a job summit and did not invite the Chamber of Commerce.
15. Two uninvited people could got into the White House state dinner, chatted with the president, was near the prime minister of the largest democracy on the planet and the response from the White House was, yeah, we need to do a better job with security.
16. President Bush appointed a Secretary of Homeland Security that:
a. Issued a memorandum declaring military veterans as possible terrorists.
b. After the terrorist attack at a US Army post, she said “don't worry, we're working on things to stop the violence against Muslims in America”
c. Said “the system worked just fine” after a terrorist partially set off a bomb on a passenger plane over Detroit.
17. President Bush referred to the terrorist who attempted to blow up a passenger plan over Detroit as an “isolated extremist” after al Qaeda had already claimed responsibility for the attack AND the terrorist’s father had already warned the US Government about his sons radical views.
18. President Bush said “not to jump to conclusions” after an Islamic terrorists killed 13 people on a US Army post.
19. President Bush spent two minutes thanking people and then giving a “shout-out” and talking about the conference he had with the American Indian prior to addressing the terrorist attack on a US Army post, HOURS AFTER the event had taken place.
20. President Bush received an anti-American book and a photo op from Hugo Chavez and then had a one hour private meeting with Vladimir Putin where Vladimir Putin would “teach the president the history of the Cold War.”
21. President Bush gave an iPod of his speeches to the Queen of England.
22. President Bush sent the bust of Winston Churchill, which was a gift from the people of England back. When the Prime Minister came to America, President Bush would said to him, hey, by the way thanks, but you can take this back to him now. The PM would said to him, no, no, no, that was a gift from the people of England to you and you can keep it in one of your museums; we gave it to you on September 11th. No, no, that's okay, and box it up and shipped it back
23. President Bush appointed a chief of the Treasury, who oversees the IRS, that cheated on his taxes, as did others in the cabinet, to include numerous other appointees who had to withdraw their own nomination in disgrace.
24. Under President Bush’s watch, we have lost millions jobs. The media has report that the White House has created or saved a million jobs even though we have to find the White House’s evidence on a $15+ million redesigned website where it would showed a good portion of these jobs were in 200+ Congressional districts that don't even exist.
How would you have felt if a Republican Congress provided the following headlines:
1. U.S. congressman told the American people that it's unreasonable to expect people in congress to read bills, and he said that because our congress would pass two bills over 1,000 pages, that no one in congress had read.
2. That Congress passed a retroactive tax that only applies to executives that had taken a contractually guaranteed bonus?
3. A job creating stimulus bill would be written nor read by congress. It would be cowritten by the Apollo Alliance, a special interest group whose New York chief was a cofounder of the Weather Underground and no one would care.
4. Congress has openly praise Castro and Chavez.
5. Healthcare has 36% approval rating, which is lower than Hillary Care but Congress and the White House are still jamming it down your throat.
6. That the Senate Majority leader has bribed members of congress with over $400 million to pass a health care bill that only 36% of Americans want.
How would you react to the following headlines in the news:
1. Hundreds of thousands of Americans gathered in a true grassroots event in a National Mall in D.C. and the media would has only dismiss them but the government, the president and the media has deem them a danger to the United States.
2. The president of the European Union (EU) said that 2009 was the year of establishing a global government through the EU and that the climate change treaty would be the next step in one world government.
3. New call for the end of the dollar as the world's reserve currency by several massive countries. Russia leader held up a coin in front of the cameras and say here's a prototype of the new global currency.
4. Government structured bailouts, bondholders lose their legal status and their investments in favor of labor union payoffs. Courts would say, "Hmmm, yeah, okay."
5. You can lose your home and property through eminent domain so a private company could build a chemical plant; eminent domain has expand in staggering ways.
6. California has decided to levy a 10% tax on its people and insist it's not a tax; it's just a forced loan. They are now issuing IOUs instead of tax refunds.
7. New York said by the end of the year they would be broke. New York has issue retroactive taxes such that a tax refund for the poorest of Americans is not really be a tax refund. Instead those poorest of Americans found out many months later that they had to pay income tax on that tax refund.
8. That the symbol of capitalism, the Empire State building, was lit in colors of communist China.
9. Hockey stick chart which describes global warming has been discredited, its founder along with another leader of the global climate change movement who found to have manipulated data, deleted emails and information to avoid Freedom of Information Act. Same scientists have done everything they can to discredit the peer review process to make sure it remained pure for their ideological purposes, yet the media wouldn't report on it. We are still going to Copenhagen with a President who is going to present a 17% reduction in carbon emissions.
10. Gold value increased from $800 an ounce to over $1200 an ounce while the value of the dollar plummeted.
11. Dubai, which a year ago was bailed out our banks, is on the edge of bankruptcy.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I regret to inform you, that all of the above did not happen under George W. Bush, but this is a recap of President Obama’s first year in office. What… this is the first time you’ve heard some of this? A lot of this isn’t on the news… it must be the EVIL right-wing FOX News that is lying to us.

Iran, Foreign and National Security

What is it going to take for the Obama administration to deal with Iran in the appropriate fashion? He is the first President in the last 29 years that has reached out to the Iranian regime since they took 53 Americans hostage in 1979, offering them an “open hand.” He set a self-imposed deadline of December 31st, 2009 for Iran to comply with his mild demands over developing nuclear weapons. President Obama’s “open hand” and “different path” has not worked and in reality, emboldened the Iranian regime.
Now, in the streets of Iran, there is graffiti asking President Obama whose side is he on… the population that is protesting the tyrannical, murderous, terrorist supporting regime or the aforementioned regime? Let me make this clear- there is civil unrest in the streets of Tehran and they are demanding a regime change. Why are we not supporting them more strongly?
Iran is a threat to the stability of the ENTIRE WORLD. There are new reports out that Iran will have an active nuclear weapon by 2011, which will be in the hands of the lunatics Ali Khamenei (the “Supreme Leader”) who is really in charge of Iran and their puppet president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Iran has made it perfectly clear- if they are able to come into possession of a nuclear weapon, they will use it to attack Israel, which has an incredibly high potential of kicking off a world war.
It will be interesting to see what the Obama administration will do now that Iran has already verbally blown off their deadline and in less than 36 hours, will have actually ignored it. President Obama’s apology tour throughout Europe and Asia seems to have garnered little support when it comes to fighting a war on terror. How will it work when he has to go the United Nations and ask for sanctions? Russia and China have blocked sanctions at each step… how is he going to change their minds?
I put forth that he will NOT be able to change their minds, so then what? Does he have the intestinal fortitude to move forward without the UN’s full support? At some point, he will figure out that he won’t be able to make the entire world love us, but it is possible to make the proper people in the world fear us.
It’s time to get serious with Iran, is President Obama up for the challenge? The history of Democratic presidents, dating back to 1977 has been VERY WEAK on National security. I understand that President Obama has only been on the job for close to one year and that he has for more community organizing experience than he does real leadership experience. When it comes to National security and foreign policy, there is a steep learning curve, hopefully, President Obama will surround himself with some intelligent and strong advisors that can help him complete his homework before more Iran develops a nuclear weapon.

I was originally working on an article on the CIA and how the politicians (Congress, White House, Department of Justice, etc…) and the progressive populous of the US have create an atmosphere of political correctness and how it has castrated the CIA and their ability to operate effectively. That article will have to wait until tomorrow due to some new developments thanks to the Obama administration.
The current status of universal health care is this: the House of Representatives have created a bill and passed it through their ranks. The Senate has passed their own version of health care through their ranks. It will be interesting to see if/how they are to reconcile the two bills. Hopefully, someone will find the intestinal fortitude to stand up and stop this jackassery.
If you’re house had a broken door… you wouldn’t tear the whole thing down and rebuild. That is essentially what this makeover is doing. Why don’t we start out with tort reform and removing restrictions on taking insurance policies being taken across state lines?
Tort reform will cap the liability of physicians in a malpractice case. Can anyone explain why nobody has heard a single lawyer complain about the revamping of HC? If we can pass tort reform, it will reduce the cost of malpractice insurance, reducing the billable rate that is charged by physicians.
The second part, removing state boundaries on insurance would INCREASE competition (scary word here- FREE MARKET), which would ultimately reduce the cost of insurance. If there is an insurance company in Arizona that offers services A, B and C for a rate of $400 per month for a family of four, you CANNOT purchase that insurance if you don’t live in Arizona, regardless of the difference in cost that your state’s insurance companies are charging.
If we remove this ridiculous restriction, it will force insurance companies to compete for your business, ultimately increasing the benefits while reducing the price. If you think this is a radical idea, you might want to check your auto insurance policy, you are able to take them across state lines.
• The big question, that the liberal elitist media (ABC, NBC and CBS) are NOT asking: Why are we not trying this before having the Federal government take over the health care, which is 1/6 of the entire economy?
• Why is the media not questioning the Obama administration like they did the Bush administration?
One of the main talking points that progressive fall back to is- “we are the only western civilization that doesn’t have health care for everyone.” If you look across Europe and up into Canada- when someone gets sick, they travel to either the United States or to Spain to receive the treatment that they are unable to get due to socialized medicine that has run rampant through Europe. This is one step, in a long path that they progressive movement issuing to undermine the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the founding principles of this country and replace them with a socialist system.
Thankfully, there are a few states that are challenging the legality of this pending legislation. Alabama Governor Robert Riley has found the intestinal fortitude and has ordered his attorney general to investigate the legality of the pending legislation.
Here are some facts that are not readily reported by the liberal biased media:
• Large cuts to federal funding of Medicaid, the State version of Medicare, which is run by the Federal government.
• The cuts to Medicaid leave it unfunded, with the difference being left for each state to pick up the tab.
• Those unfunded portions of Medicaid will INCREASE your taxes, costing roughly $34,000,000,000 (that’s 34 billion) over ten years, on average. That equates to $3.4 billion per year, per state! For larger states such as California or Texas, that number is estimated at closer to $50,000,000,000 over 10 years.
The state of Illinois had 12,901,563 residents in 2008, as projected by the US Census Bureau. Now, anyone who lives in Illinois knows that the state is way to close to going bankrupt as it is, primarily due to the society of entitlements that have been created by the rampant corruption in Illinois politics, with the Daley machine leading the way. So lets do some simple math, with the understanding that IL doesn’t have a magical slush fund that is going to subsidize the $3.4 billion per year that you are likely to see as an INCREASE in the TAXES that you are paying, EACH YEAR!
Here are some quick facts about he uninsured in the United States, based off the progressive favorite of 46 million uninsured “people” in the US:
• 10 million are in the country illegally, which disqualifies them from Government run health care.
That takes the 46 million down to 36 million. Of that 36 million:
• Roughly half of them have a household income over $50,000 per year.
• A quarter of that 36 million make over $75,000 per year.
• It is also estimated that half of the 36 million uninsured are between the ages of 18 and 35, and have made the CHOICE to not purchase insurance due to the low risk of a major ailment at that age.
Considering those three points, which are difficult to nail down and apply accurately to the 36 million uninsured, due to the overlap of all three categories, we are dealing with roughly 18 million Americans that are uninsured because they can’t afford it. If we lowball the US population at 300 million people, the 18 million uninsured is ONLY 6% of the country!
Looking at the average unfunded Medicaid that is coming $3.4 billion per year, PER STATE, which is $170 billion PER YEAR that this country is going to have to pay, in taxes. That is roughly $9,500 for each of the 18 million people that are uninsured. DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO YOU? ARE YOU OK WITH THIS?
Now, lets add some salt to that wound- the Obama administration has also authorized “unlimited financial support” to Freddie Mac and Fannie May, two of the major causes of the housing crisis that played a major role in the current recession. The reasoning that the Obama administration has given:
• It will decrease or keep mortgage rates low.
• They will be able to purchase and modify existing mortgages for struggling homeowners.
Ladies and gentlemen… two key points here:
• This is going to create a new housing bubble by allowing people to purchase property that they CANNOT AFFORD… AGAIN.
• The Obama administration is estimating that it will only LOSE ANOTHER $170 BILLION… of YOUR money, over ten years.
In case you didn’t get the memo- I regret to inform you that owning a house or condo is NOT A RIGHT. There are too many irresponsible people that bought in way over their heads financially, which was another major cause of the housing crisis, leading to the recession.
The society of entitlements NEEDS TO END for both the GOVERNMENT and its CITIZENS. If you can’t afford to purchase something, then DON’T PURCHASE IT.
We have had MORE THAN ENOUGH BAILOUTS, we DO NOT need anymore. We NEED TO LET PEOPLE FAIL, that is apparently the only way they will learn this lesson.

War on Terror or Police Action
How is the Obama administration fighting terrorism? Is this still a war on terrorism or have we turned this into a police action?
Based off the current climate, policies and restrictions being put into practice, it would appear that President Obama is ready to declare “Mission Accomplished” for the war on terror and that “all major combat operations have concluded.” Does this sound familiar to you?
An article by Margaret Coker and Summer Said in the Wall Street Journal is reporting an Al Qaeda group based out of Yemen has claimed responsibility for the bomb attempt in the skies over Detroit on Christmas. Coker and Said wrote “The group (al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula) , also known by its initials AQAP, said the suspect had the blessing of the organization in ‘his response’ to U.S. attacks in Yemen, apparently referring to recent U.S.-backed military strikes conducted by the Yemeni government against suspected al Qaeda operatives.” They went on to report “In the statement, the group warned of fresh attacks in the Arabian peninsula, in particular, calling for attacks against foreign embassies: ‘We call on all Muslims ... to throw out all unbelievers from the Arabian peninsula by killing the crusaders who work in embassies or elsewhere,’ the statement read. The al Qaeda statement said Mr. Abdulmutallab ‘managed to penetrate all devices and modern advanced technology and security checkpoints in international airports ... defying the large myth of American and international intelligence, and exposing how fragile they are, bringing their nose to the ground.’”
President Obama has already referred to the bombing suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmuttalab as an “isolated extremist” instead of acknowledging this is a continuation of the war that al Qaeda declared upon us in the 1990’s. According to Representative Peter King (R-NY), an “iron curtain” has come down around this topic from the White House and all information is being controlled very strictly. Why is the White House not briefing the proper members of Congress?
How many innocent Americans have to die for President Obama to view this as the war that it is? This is the first time that the Democratic party has governed in the war on terror… they are failing this country and if they maintain on this path, I fear that more Americans are going to be murdered due to the inept policies of this administration. There is now a connection between Umar Farouk Abdulmuttaalab and Major Nidal Hasan, the “suspected” shooter in the terrorist attack at Fort Hood in Texas- the radical cleric Anwar Awlaki, who is reported to be one of the rising stars in al Qaeda.
Here is something else for you to think about- is the suspected terrorist going to be Mirandized and granted the right to an attorney? If this happens, the game is over, we LOSE the opportunity to interrogate him and gather more intelligence on al Qaeda, including the newest threat in Yemen, and the “rising star” Anwar Awlaki who has already been linked two the Fort Hood terrorist attack.
Umar Farouk Abdulmuttalab, the suspected, IS A ENEMY COMBATANT and should be treated as such. This was ANOTHER act of war and if it is NOT treated as such, it will set a very dangerous precedent.
In another article from ABC news, Brian Ross, Anna Schecter and Joseph Rhee wrote an article: Two al Qaeda Leaders Behind Northwest Flight 253 Terror Plot Were Released by U.S. They reported that “two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from ht Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, according to American officials and Department of Defense documents. American officials agreed to send the two terrorists from Guantanamo to Saudi Arabia where they entered into the ‘art therapy rehabilitation program’ and were set free, according to U.S. and Saudi officials.” Do you think Senator Durbin got that memo yet?
President Obama along with his progressive and liberal base have rallied against Guantanamo as a cause of the hatred that is harbored by the Islamic fundamentalists that want to kill Americans. I’m sure that if you look through some of the progressive and liberal blogs, they are blaming the attempted attack on two things:
1) The two terrorists that were released for Guantanamo set up this attack only because they were sent to Guantanamo. This is ridiculous. They ended up at Guantanamo for a reason… it wasn’t a tour bus stop in the middle east that stopped at Guantanamo.
2) President Bush is at fault… he released them. Again, absolute idiocy. For all the faults and policy errors that President Bush had, one of the things that he did mostly correct was to prosecute the war on terror. If you look back through recent history (2001-2008), the progressive movement has done nothing but hampered and hindered the Bush administrations war on terror.
The progressive and liberal radicals in this country are so concerned with being politically correct and not hurting anyone’s feelings that they are effectively weakening America. I have served in Iraq, I have gather, and analyzed intelligence while working with the Iraqi Army. I have seen up close and personal members of Al Qaeda. Let me reassure you- these people hate you! They hate what you stand for and they would kill you with the same emotional effect you have when you throw out a used tissue.
What will it take for the liberal and progressive base to understand this? Is it possible for them to understand? Do they have such an overinflated sense of their own importance, in which they have a deep-seeded need for admiration that they seem to believe that they are superior to others and have little regard for the feelings of others that disagree with them? Do they have a fragile self-esteem which makes them lash out at anyone (Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc…) by calling them racists, fascist, etc…?
Does the current administration and progressive majority of Congress have a martyr complex? Are they so intimidated by strong willed, strong minded, independent, result-oriented people that they feel threatened enough to think that the people that are actually prosecuting the war on terror (Bush administration, the CIA, the military) are the enemy and need to be brought down to size instead of the terrorist? Are they willing to sacrifice their own political careers and the safety of America due to this complex?
Let me be clear- this is a WAR on terrorism and a war on radical Islam. If the President and the progressive majority in Congress does not wake up, they will continue to weaken America to a point where another catastrophic act of terrorism will take place on American soil, leading to more deaths of American citizens that could have been prevented by a tougher stance and policies.
Based off the current climate, policies and restrictions being put into practice, it would appear that President Obama is ready to declare “Mission Accomplished” for the war on terror and that “all major combat operations have concluded.” Does this sound familiar to you?
An article by Margaret Coker and Summer Said in the Wall Street Journal is reporting an Al Qaeda group based out of Yemen has claimed responsibility for the bomb attempt in the skies over Detroit on Christmas. Coker and Said wrote “The group (al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula) , also known by its initials AQAP, said the suspect had the blessing of the organization in ‘his response’ to U.S. attacks in Yemen, apparently referring to recent U.S.-backed military strikes conducted by the Yemeni government against suspected al Qaeda operatives.” They went on to report “In the statement, the group warned of fresh attacks in the Arabian peninsula, in particular, calling for attacks against foreign embassies: ‘We call on all Muslims ... to throw out all unbelievers from the Arabian peninsula by killing the crusaders who work in embassies or elsewhere,’ the statement read. The al Qaeda statement said Mr. Abdulmutallab ‘managed to penetrate all devices and modern advanced technology and security checkpoints in international airports ... defying the large myth of American and international intelligence, and exposing how fragile they are, bringing their nose to the ground.’”

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope that you are having a chance to celebrate the day and spend some time reflecting on how many blessing have been bestowed upon us simply by being born an American.
We spend a lot of time in our lives worrying and obsessing about small things that are in our lives. We are far too often concerned about how we are going to get the new TV or what someone has said. In the grand scheme of things, these are not important. The health and welfare of our families and friends is most important- today is a great day to celebrate that.
This time of year is also great for reflection- what was good, what was bad? What did I do right and what could I have done better? Nobody is perfect, that is why this time of year is a great time for redemption!
Please take a minute and say a little prayer for the men and women who are serving our country overseas and in harms way. I have spend an entire holiday season overseas in Iraq- it’s goes without saying, but I will say it anyways, they wish they were at home with their family and friends.

Why the Pursuit of Happieness?
One of the major aspects of LibertarianSense.com is to educate the people of the United States. Today, we’ll address a common misconception about history and our Founding Fathers!
A key part of the Declaration of Independence says: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Why do you think it says the “pursuit of Happiness?”
It ties into the Constitution of the United States of America, Article I, Section 2- the key parts in bold: “Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Person as, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.
The “representatives” is referring to the House of Representatives and the “three fifths of all other Persons” is referring to African-American slaves.
The common misconception of the 3/5 of a person was because the founding fathers were “racists and bigots” and didn’t think that slaves were real people. THIS IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL!
The original draft of the Declaration of Independence said “Property” but was changed to “the pursuit of Happiness.” Why is the question!
Believe it or not, the South (slave owners) fought tooth and nail to count slaves as a “full person” in order to increase the number of persons in the South, in order to increase the number of representatives in Congress. This would have shifted the balance of power, with their representation having gone through the roof! This would be like the populous vote of California against North Dakota... North Dakota would not have a chance preventing slavery from ever being outlawed!
At the time (July 4th, 1776), slaves were considered to be property. If the Declaration of Independence would have said that “property” was an “unalienable Right,” the South would have forever argued that slaves were property and ownership of them was an “unalienable right” granted to them from God.
So to answer the question of why the “pursuit of Happiness” is considered an “unalienable Right” in the Declaration of Independence is so the Founding Fathers left the door open to outlaw slavery!
One of the GREATEST dangers to the Republic is the “progressive” movement that started in the early 1900’s and is being rammed down our throats by President Obama and his flunkies. The progressives want you to believe the Founding Fathers were racists and bigots. If they are able to discredit them, they are able to eat away at your beliefs in them, the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. The question you should really be asking yourself is... why are they doing this? What is the objective?

Welcome to the Site
Hello everyone, welcome to Libertarian Sense, I appreciate you stopping by. This is quite a day to start this site considering the Progressive party (also known as the Democratic party) has passed all of the procedural votes they need in order to pass Universal Health Care.
hard road for all of us. But now we’ve cleared
all 60-vote hurdle. Along the way, we stand a
few short steps from the most significant finish
line we’ve had in Congress for quite many
decades. This debate has been dominated by
partisanship and politics. But I don’t see this as
60 democrats versus 40 Republicans, I see the
60 leaders who stood up to insurance companies and stood up for working families all across America. I see the 60 leaders who know it’s long past time we declare health care a right, not a privilege.”
The last part- “we declare health care a right, not a privilege” is NOT his choice. It’s NOT Congress’s choice. It’s NOT the Presidents choice. If he wants this to be a “Right,” it needs to become a Constitutional Amendment. Health care is NOT a right, having a job is NOT a right. Owning a house is NOT a right.
If you read back through history, you will see the Franklin D. Roosevelt tried the same ploy in 1944 with his “Second Bill of Rights.” At least he was intelligent enough to realize that it would have to be a second bill of rights.
When this bill passes, their will be rationing of health care, fewer doctors to go around, longer waits and a decrease in medical care. I really hope this does not affect anyone that you care for, but chances are... it will.
